Resume RedTeam Employer-Side Job Search Intelligence

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Resume RedTeam (“the Service”), a product operated by KnowTheBreach LLC (“KnowTheBreach,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Pennsylvania limited liability company. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Resume RedTeam is

Resume RedTeam provides an AI-assisted, employer-side job-search intelligence platform. The Service combines AI interpretation, structured analysis, and deterministic rules to help you evaluate opportunities, pressure-test application evidence, organize serious targets, and identify patterns across your search.

The Service is an informational self-assessment and decision-support tool. It is not a hiring decision, professional career coaching, legal advice, or a guarantee of any employment result.

2. Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and legally able to enter into these Terms. Your account is personal to you: you may not share, sell, transfer, or permit another person to use it. You are responsible for maintaining control of your email account, authentication methods, passphrase, recovery code, and active sessions, and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

3. Disclaimers: AI accuracy and employment outcomes

AI output limitations. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate reviews and feedback. AI-generated results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are solely responsible for verifying any output or recommendations before relying on them.

No guarantee of results. Hiring decisions depend entirely on third-party employers, their distinct processes, and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Resume RedTeam does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment outcomes, or career advancement.

4. Your content and limited license

You retain full ownership of the resumes, career information, notes, job postings, communications, and other materials you submit to the Service (“User Content”).

Your own job search and authorized content. The Service is for your own job search. You may submit:

Do not submit another person’s resume, application materials, private communications, confidential employer information, trade secrets, or personal information without appropriate authorization. Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or other sensitive information the Service does not need.

Limited license. You grant KnowTheBreach a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process, and analyze User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

This license does not transfer ownership of your content. We do not sell User Content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models — engine testing and tuning use synthetic resumes and postings, never your content. Contracted service providers may process User Content only as necessary to provide the Service and subject to privacy and security obligations.

The license ends when content is deleted, except to the limited extent retention briefly continues in rotating backups, is needed to investigate fraud or security incidents, or is required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use and restrictions

You agree to use the Service only for your personal, non-commercial job-search efforts. You explicitly agree not to:

6. The founding beta

The Service is currently offered as a free founding beta: full access for 90 days, with seats opened in limited phases. Unless your invitation states otherwise, your 90 days begin when your beta account is activated. We do not collect a payment method during the beta, and nothing converts to a paid plan automatically — continuing past the beta always requires your affirmative choice.

“Full access” means the features we designate as part of the founding beta during your beta period. It does not promise every experimental, future, or separately offered capability, and reasonable fair-use, security, and operational limits apply.

Beta features are still being tested: they may contain errors, produce inaccurate results, change without notice, experience interruptions, or be modified or removed, and no guarantee of uninterrupted availability applies. You should retain your own copies of resumes, postings, and notes you need independently of the Service.

Beta access is personal and may not be transferred or shared. We may end beta access for abuse or violations of these Terms, or reclaim a seat for material inactivity after reasonable notice when a limited seat is needed for another tester. When the beta or your access ends, we will, when reasonably practical, provide notice and an opportunity to export or delete saved content.

Beta status does not reduce the privacy, retention, or security commitments in our Privacy Policy, and you may delete your account and its data at any time.

7. Feedback

Feedback is voluntary and never required. If you choose to send us feedback, suggestions, error reports, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them to evaluate and improve the Service, without compensation or any obligation of attribution or implementation. Feedback means your comments about the Service itself — this section does not change the license or protections that apply to your User Content in Section 4, and it does not permit us to publish your name, likeness, testimonial, or job-search details without your separate permission.

8. Termination, suspension, and abuse

We may suspend, restrict, or revoke your access to the Service — including a founding-beta seat — if we reasonably believe that: you have violated these Terms; you have used the Service fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or outside your own authorized job search; you have attacked, probed, scraped, overloaded, or attempted to bypass its security or usage controls; you have attempted to extract prompts, model behavior, or another user’s data; you have submitted content you do not own or lack permission to use; suspension or termination is required by law; or, during the beta, your seat has been materially inactive after reasonable notice that it may be reassigned.

We may act immediately and without advance notice when necessary to address a security risk, suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, or harm to the Service or another person. In other circumstances, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue when reasonably practical.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. The treatment of saved content following suspension, termination, or account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Ownership of the Service

KnowTheBreach LLC and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, design, interfaces, workflows, decision frameworks, prompts, documentation, and branding. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own job search. They do not grant you ownership of the Service or any right to copy, license, resell, or create a competing service from its protected components.

10. No warranties

11. Limitation of liability

12. Indemnification

13. Service changes and availability

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. We will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice when a change materially affects saved content or continued account access. The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms and any disputes arising from your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Service or by email; changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. Where applicable law requires your affirmative consent to a change, the change will not apply to you until that consent is obtained.

16. Contact and notices

Questions, notices, and data requests: see Support or email [email protected]. Legal notices may be sent to KnowTheBreach LLC at the same email address.
